Well, it’s a good question. 以前我的英文老師也是這樣跟我們說的 當然,初級學生老師們都是推薦英文老歌 因為好聽,而且老歌的歌詞淺顯易懂 Carpenters應該是大部分英文老師會第一推薦的 其他像Air Supply, Don Mclean, John Denver, Dennis de Young, Olivia Newton-John, Barbra Streisand, Simon & Garfunkel, 等老團體或歌手也是不錯的選擇. 八0年代Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Richard Marx, Phil Collins, Paul Young等也不錯. 我是建議不要去找一些太經典的像The Beatles, Elvis Presley等 雖然他們在西洋歌曲的地位無人能取代, 但可能他們的歌年代太久遠了, 對年輕一代來講會聽不太下去喔! 我還記得The End of the World是學英文最好的一首歌 Why does the sun go on shining?
